The latest supplement of the Journal of the International AIDS Society, released earlier this month, and co-edited by director of the Center for Dissemination and Implementation, Elvin Geng, MD focuses on the latest advancements and research in HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention.

Geng, an infectious disease researcher and professor in the School of Medicine, was instrumental in shaping the supplement’s content, ensuring it addresses the most pressing issues in the field. The supplement encompasses a wide array of topics, from innovative treatment strategies to the socio-economic challenges faced by those living with HIV/AIDS.

In an editorial, also co-authored by Geng, he highlights the importance of continuous research and collaboration in the fight against HIV/AIDS, noting that “our collective work is more important than ever as we strive to improve outcomes for people living with HIV around the globe.”

The supplement includes contributions from leading researchers and practitioners, presenting cutting-edge findings and practical insights. This publication aims to enhance readers’ understanding of HIV/AIDS but also sets the stage for future research and policy development.
