Join us for our Enola Proctor Lecture with Rani Elwy, PhD, of Brown University’s School of Public Health. This event is part of our annual D&I Proposal Development Bootcamp. However, it is open to all and free to attend. The lecture will take place in person at the Eric P. Newman Education Center on the Washington University Medical Campus.

About the speaker

A. Rani Elwy, PhD

Professor, Psychiatry and Human Behavior, Warren Alpert Medical School, Brown University 
Research Career Scientist, Center for Healthcare Organization and Implementation Research, VA Bedford Healthcare System

Rani Elwy investigates the efficacy of integrative medicine therapies as treatments for PTSD, depression and chronic pain. She is the Director of the Implementation Science Core in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior in the Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Additionally, she is scaling up and spreading a Disclosure Technical Assistance Program to assist Veterans Health Administration facilities with large-scale disclosures of unanticipated events affecting their patients.

Rani will be speaking to Building Capacity in Implementation Science: Vision, Partnerships, and Readiness for Change.

Due to limited space, registration is required. Check-in for in-person attendees will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Directions & parking

Our Enola Proctor Lecture will take place in Great Room B on the first floor of the Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC). EPNEC located at 320 S Euclid Ave, St. Louis, MO.

Those utilizing public transportation can access EPNEC from the Central West End Metrolink station or transit center (by bus). Use the Metro Trip Planner.

Upon arriving, please utilize levels 6-7 of the Metro Parking Garage located at the corner of Taylor Avenue and Nash Way [formerly Children’s Place]. The garage address is 4560 Nash Way [formerly Children’s Place], St. Louis, MO 63110. Go to level 3 to enter into the pedestrian walkway. Press handicap button to open the door. Turn left into the walkway. Make the first right (past Kaldi’s Coffee). Walk a short distance, and you will enter EPNEC at the 2nd level.

Parking validations for the Metro Parking Garage will be provided for non-WashU and non-BJC attendees only.
