Master of Science in Clinical Investigation
This one- to five-year, full- or part-time degree program serves early-stage investigators committed to pursuing academic careers in clinical research. MSCI is the largest master’s degree program at the WashU School of Medicine. The program offers a career track in Dissemination & Implementation.
Master of Public Health
This two-year, 52-credit-hour degree program gives graduates the tools for leadership in public health. It offers an innovative curriculum focused on understanding problems and creating solutions using transdisciplinary approaches.

Master of Population Health Sciences
This 33-credit degree program is designed for medical students, physicians, and other clinical doctorates, specifically so they can integrate it easily into clinical schedules or research time. The MPHS focuses on quantitative methods and research expertise needed for a career as a physician scientist.
PhD in Social Work
This 72-credit degree program emphasizes individualized mentoring and training that prepares graduates to address our world’s most challenging and pressing concerns. (21 credits can be transferred from your MSW or other qualified graduate degree.)
PhD in Public Health Sciences
This 72-credit degree program prepares graduates to think critically as scientists, succeed as independent researchers, and understand and address public health challenges for the nation and the world. (21 credits can be transferred from your MPH or other qualified graduate degree.)
PhD in Computational & Data Sciences
This 72-credit interdisciplinary degree program trains students to understand and address vexing social science problems through data and computing. (Up to 24 graduate credits may be transferred.)
